We at VIVA aware of our responsibility to society. With particular care, competence and understanding we looking at the right and appropriate product solutions for the preservation of the natural environment of nature and our planet. In the name of environmental sustainability we do it daily together with our suppliers and a wide network of partners.

VIVA participate in a collective system for the performance of its obligations under the Law on Waste Management Act for separate collection, reuse, recycling and recovery of end-of-life lamps, fluorescent lamps and luminaries like and encourages users to back defective and obsolete products or have them disposed of in containers for discarded electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE).

Information points for WEEE recycling can be obtained from the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water (RIEWs) across the country, local authority or local waste collection service for household waste disposal. Waste Management

Despite the efforts that we at VIVA and other companies are making towards lighting collection, recycling and recovery of WEEE, the main and most important role in this process play consumers. By its decision to comply with the recommendations for separate collection of this waste, they contribute to:

  • prevent the negative environmental impact of WEEE;
  • increase the amount of reused, recycled and recovered by other WEEE operations, which contribute to the efficient use of natural resources;
  • measures taken by those involved in the eco-design to limit the impact of energy-saving lamps throughout their life cycle and formed their waste on human health and the environment.

Improper collection or treatment of waste from EEE in the environment may liberate hazardous substances and is likely to pose a risk to human health or the environment. separate collection

The symbol indicating separate collection for EEE consists of the crossed-out wheeled bin. This symbol is placed on any product that is electronic and electrical equipment within the meaning of Directive 2012/19/ES of the European Parliament and the Council. After exiting from the use of this product, it should not be disposed of with household waste.
